Pryce makes sense though as we look a little light on the Winger side of things. Obst is not a great player and we already have our squad halfback in Jeffries. Spend the wage money on another Prop

I would do personally, not sure if we will do though.

Given we have Gale, Briggs, Jeffries and Sammut it'd take quite an injury crisis for us to need Obst.

I have to agree with Adey, it does sound like Obst agent is trying to get a bigger contract by naming other clubs who've "shown an interest".

It may very well have been that we asked on Obst availability but when told the figures involved we stood back.

If we sign those two, we can be assured that we aren't aiming above tenth.

Obst will add nothing to our squad and is lesser than players already there.
As has been said I think its Agent's rumours to hike up his worth.

Sooner have Southernwood stepping up than having Obst here, sorry but he's past it.

Obst is mile better than Jefferies. At least he will give 100% each week Jefferies picks his games and hides for the rest. As for getting more money out of us think if he comes it will be on our terms not his as we have plenty of players in his position. If it was a pick between obst and jefferies would be OBST any day of the week. Look at how many MOM's he picked up at Hull last season.

We're lumbered with Jeffries for another year though.
