Why not have both??
Kearney's done very well at full back this season. Kear's the only OOC who is owrth signing (I know i've been banging on about it) but the lads got talent. Although i think Kear is a natural FB, he's played mostly on the wing this year.

If that had happened i would have been calling for Potters head, letting go 1 of our best players for a young winger who's yet to fully prove himself. And lets not forget, he wouldn't do much for us because he'd get hardly any decent opportunities seen as he'll have a mediocre centre on his inside. |

Personally i'd keep Royston and let Walker go now we've signed Purtell. For some reason Potter has a downer on both Royston and Briggs but believes Sykes continually warrants a place in the first team..
