I saw that and I'm not sure. Is he any better than what we have at fullback (ie BK and Shad)? He doesn't really play anywhere else. We still have Sykes and Platt for cover if needs be so what's the point? Louis Anderson on the other hand...

We've just tied up a quality fullback for another 2+ years, and we have plenty of second rowers as it is.

Yep don't see what he would offer the Bulls. We need to be targeting players that are better than those already at the club. Briscoe doesn't come under that category IMO.

Well he has to be judged against what we have at the club already in his position.

Clubs usually only announce a player is leaving at this time of year if their new club is about to announce their signing. Briscoe isn't better than Kearney and not a massive improvement on Royston either so can't see him coming to us. Halves and centre have got to be our priority. Expect briscoe and Anderson to be announced for widnes and catalans respectively in next couple of days.

I wonder perhaps if the 'high profile UK SL player' that Catalan were targeting is Anderson rather than Pryce?

Briscoe sounds perfect for us - an average player who is not quite as good as he was, in a position we have plenty of cover for. I'll expect to see him in a Bulls shirt very soon.

Mat it was a quote from Robinson confirming their interest in a high profile SL player. It could equally apply to either Anderson or Pryce. That was the point I was making, perhaps the Pryce deal is quite the 'done deal' yet.

I realise what you mean but seeing as all SL Players (apart from catalans) ones are in uk, The need to mention uk SL to me implies a British player. Time will tell.

I disagree with you on several points but that one is just pure unadulterated nonsense and I can assure you 99.9% of people with any knowledge of the game would think the same.
