I've just noticed a headline in today's sporting news about a 16 year old footballer who was on Leeds Utd's books called Elliot Kebbie. Apparently he has signed a deal to move to Barcelona during this summer, and is supposed to be a bit of a whizzkid.

No, he could play for England as he was born here and his mum is (white) english and his dad is Nigerian English ( born in London). He would play for England.

As far as i am aware he cannot play for Nigeria but he can qualify for Spain threw residency after 5 years. It is like saying i can play for italy as my mother is italian but i would choose england all day. he is English and would play for England end of.
