| I'm prepared to say that yesterday was just a bad day at the office, although the defence at times was atrocious and needs some serious work on improving it during the next six days.
I made a point in the pre-match commentary that the key to yesterdays game was the Bradford defence.
Some of the Bulls defending was awful, particularly down our left hand channel which saw McGillvary and Cudjoe have a field day, with McGillvary getting himself a brace as Ah Van and Raynor had stinkers
The one thing that Huddersfield had in spades yesterday was enthusiasm and it was a sorry sight to see the Bulls players heads go down after the four tries in the opening 16 minutes.
Yes it's fair to say that the Giants hit some very fortuitous bounces of the ball, but these things happen.
So like I say it's best to write yesterdays game off as a bad day at the office and move on to the Round Six fixture against the 100% Castleford Tigers.
We are very much still a side that is work in progress (although how long can you keep using that as an excuse I don't really know?) but I expect Mick Potter to ring the changes this week with the underperforming players relegated to the bench/out of the starting 17.
I hate to say this but Ah Van shouldn't be playing this week after what I saw yesterday with his weakness to tackle cruelly exposed by a clinical & far superior Huddersfield backline. The only thing in his favour is his magnificent goal kicking conversion rate 83%.

| Ah Van shouldnt be picked just for his kicking, we have Herbert and Addy that can also kick.

Agree which makes it all interesting to see what side Mick puts out on Sunday, especially with him saying that the squad would be picked on ON FIELD performances.
Shad Royston will be back on Sunday at full back.

Royston back at Full Back will be a boost, we really did miss his support play yesterday.

| It should be interesting to see what the crowd is on Sunday with many of the season ticket holders I work with all sounding very hesitant when I asked them about the game on Sunday.
I hope yesterday hasn't done too much damage to the feel good Bradford factor within the the clubs supporter base.

Well it's Huddersfield vs Wigan, or watching the wrestling on Sky Sports 2. Hard to choose. Or tell the difference.

| Tough game on Sunday, Castleford are in a good bit of form right now and their tails are up. It is going to take a big turnaround in performance to get any points from this match. Rangi Chase is the obvious dangerman who always seems to play well against us and is pretty much guaranteed to score at least once against us!

| I can't see us winning this one but an improved performance will do it for me. The way they ended the game means a lot to me. It showed they still had pride in what they were doing despite the drubbing. I hope they give a good account of themselves at home and the fans respond to it with a bit of atmosphere.

If I remember correctly he ignored the support he did have! Perhaps he was looking for Royston though?

He had two blokes to his left and a defender to his right, so naturally passed right.

| Seems we're a team of glassbacks. Is there an injury list as long as ours in the league?
I'm afraid pessimism has crept in already this end. Cas by 20, mostly down Ah Van and Sykes' side.

| Well, I've voted for a Bulls win.
Cas are playing well at the moment but the game where we stop making the silly errors and backing up with giving the opposition a penalty is the game we will win convincingly. Hopefully this Sunday.
Possibly some team changes after being handed our asses by Hudds, I would like to see Royston back, he hasn't done anything worth being dropped for IMO.

Of course there is, it was just unlucky that two of our injuries were our scrum half and stand off.
I think Bulls will take this one.

| I fancy us to win this one. Cas are a fair side but hardly a 'top' team, despite early indications and haven't played away from the Jungle much either. I'd like to see Royston back at fullback as we missed his attacking skills and backing up last weekend. I fully understand Potter's wish to 'try something different' or even to 'give someone else a chance' but for mine the Cas game is one where we are in with a good chance of the points, and we should be putting the best we've got available out on the paddock.

I think I might have to take that back after reading about Finnegan and Raynor!
I'm sure I heard that Leeds had 9 first team players missing on Saturday though.
