why why are some of you putting them down so much ?? yes we made mistakes but it was the first game of the season and we had half a new team out !! There were signs of promise from whitehead diskin and Briggs .i have seen one guy on another website saying he has been ashamed of the team for last 3 + seasons , yea granted we have been shocking in previous games . yet its a new season, new coach and new players why cant we get behind them and give them our full support and not put them aside allready.

Well I thought we were hot TBH and did not get what we deserved. Considering we were supposed to struggle with so many new faces I reckon we shut a few people up.

Yes we did not get the rub of the green but the team spirit was there, the heart was there and the fight was there.

There is a lot of positives to take from the game and it is certainly a lot brighter than it has been for a while IMO.

i hope no one thought i was picking fault on here i really dint mean it !!!! lets hope they can use this to stir them for the rest season and sunday !

To be fair it was one occasion where Steve McNamara's overused [i'We'll take plenty of positives from this game'[/i was actually justified

well mcnamara would say "we'll take positives" when it was clear there were no positives to take from the game. Sunday, we were the better team for the majority of the game. It's just unfortunate that we don't yet know how to kill off a game, but I'm sure as the combinations click as the season goes on that this will change.

It is the new Bradford Bulls feelgood factor FA. It has been a while.

To be honest I thought one of the reasons we lost is [ibecause [/iwe tried to close the game down. If we'd carried on making plays and putting Leeds under the sort of pressure we'd put them under for the earlier part of the game and made them make a few more tackles, they wouldn't have been able to concentrate on, or have the energy for, attacking us quite so much as they did in the last twenty. Plus, of course we might have put more points on the board. It's difficult though, Leeds are a quality side and were always going to show up at some time during the game (I think I'm sounding like Nobby now) but what we were doing was working and if it ain't broke etc......

PS, for me there are always some positives to take from every match (even in generally dire performances) and where positives are few then there are still lessons to be learned. We don't always learn them, of course
