Had a think again letter form Bulls this morning about the longer term membership deals.
New offer included of a five year membership with no extras for £500.
Sounds a good deal to me and there were posters after the original who said they would be interested in a 5 year deal.

I got it too. If I had £500 lying around I'd be very tempted.

great idea for those in the stand as it locks in your season ticket price at £100 for next five years irrespective of any price rises in that period. Not much use for us on the terraces unless prices rise dramatically over the five year period.

I'd be amazed if £500 for 5 seasons didn't work out cheaper than buying a season ticket each year for the next 5 for the terraces.

I fully expect the prices will be back up around or more likely above the £100 mark after this year.

If I had the cash, then I'd certainly go for it. The letter I got today was offering a 25 year deal.

the club's already mentioned that they hope it will only rise a small amount next year (£10-£15) provided the model they have for this pricing model works how they expect in terms of extra merchandise and gameday spends.

Remember because we were getting comments along lines of all pledgees would desert after a year when prices went backup and I remember the article coming out at around same time defusing that argument. I'll see if I can find a link, although that will only work if it was in t&a, could have been league express.

I think I'll take them up on the offer of a 5 year membership. I can't see myself being out of pocket over the course of the next 5 years. Obviously the deal is better for those in the stands but I think it works out at around £8.33 a game for the next 5 years which seems pretty good to me.

And at the end of the "think again" letter is mentioned that these offers are no longer invitation only but can now be passed on to family members.

To be honest I see this five year deal to benefit those who use the Tetley's stand.

thats way I see it tbh. if they did equivalent deal of £300 for 5 years on terrace I'd seriously consider it, but as it is I'll take gamble that terrace prices wont rise enough over next 4 years to exceed the extra £200 I'd be paying taking up the £500 offer and going on terrace (which they did mention you could do in original letter).

I think £400 for five years on the terrace would be an honest and tempting deal working out at £80 IMO.

agreed if they hadnt already set precedent of offering main stand deal at five years at £100, only a £1 more than they are paying this year. so using same logic equivalent deal for terrace would be £305. I fully expect terrace to go up to £70-75 next year but cant see it going up enough over next 4 years to make the £500 offer anything better than a break even proposition for those of us on the terraces.
