| Well going by Scruton's twitter account he's still in training. At least, I think that's what the team does when they're not at Nandos

I'm surprised they haven't built a fecking restaurant inside the ground to be honest.

I've been a few times and do enjoy it, but nowhere near the amount the players go.
I have always assumed it's something to do with their diets. Presumably most players have to be careful what they eat (and some will be on strict diets). I would assume the piri piri chicken which Nandos is famous for fits in with an RL Player's diet, and therefore makes it one of the only restaurant type places that they can go to regularly without affecting their nutrition.

Sounds spot on does the above and yeah I'm like your good self in that it's every week on twitter in that I'll see one of the players tweet something along the lines of "I'm off to bust a nados"
Have you been to Charco's on Leeds Road?
They do that flame grilled Piri Piri chicken and is great value, I went the other day and got a Combo Platter which consisted of a whole flamed grill piri piri chicken, five giant flamed grilled chicken wings, large spicy wedges and two corn on the cobs.
A bargain at £11.

Like i have said previously , why would i reveal my source and risk not receiving future info????
You don't have to believe it but what reason would i have to lie about this???
Unlike when i announce george burgess going to souths , (and i could of just been saying that to make rumors, although i think i was pretty accurate ) Quote ="bcfc bradford"sorry roofaldo just seen the thread with wagga on,

He had double hernia op mid oct, and he has just this week had a wrist op, ( more of a clean out , but still no contact as such for a couple of weeks ) , he is also having a injection for further probs later this week or next !!!

| I seem to recall last year hearing that Scruton was playing with numerous injuries, so I can't say this would surprise me.
Rather he gets them all cleared up and starts the season fresh but without a full pre-season, than have a full season while still carrying injuries.

I never said that it was a big deal, what i said was that he hasn't had a great pre season in terms of the training he has been able to do and that i hope it doesn't effect his season as he is playing for a new contract, and i for one was hoping he would have a big year!!!

| So i was suggesting that i didn't think my titbit information was a big deal , but more that it could of been something nick could of done without with a big year ahead playing for a contract.

agreed but tbh dont think scrutes has to worry too much about having a big year in terms of getting a new contract. He showed what he's capable off last year and if he's a little slow out off blocks this year due to a disrupted off season I'm sure club will take that into account. I'd say scrutes, kearney and maybe l'estrange will be clubs priorities to get re-signed asap this year. Imo its the guys coming in on 1 yr deals who have to hit the ground running and impress the coaching staff to get new deals more than some off the more established guys.
