That meant that the Bulls could release him in January anyway for free but this way gives Scully a bit more financial security and frees the Bulls obligations! Shame for the Lad but I hope his rehab continues and that he can get back to playing again!

Shame really as he offered something different when he was fit at other clubs. He could be aggressive and had a good offload at times.

The club could have tried to dump him a while back. I was never happy with the signing, but both Danny and the club have conducted themselves well and it sounds like both parties are happy wuth the deal. I'm glad the club chose to give him support through it too, and I hope he manages to get a deal in SL.
