One person that would be happy with the signing would be Glenn Hall. Palea'aesina's "stints" would make Hall's look like 70 minutes.

(In fairness, Hall lasted a lot longer in yesterday's game, so hopefully those days are behind us)

Is langley close to resigning? I've read that Wigan are only willing to offer Fielden a 1 year deal and if he turns that down Wigan will then turn their attention to trying to sign Langley as a replacement for Fielden. Anybody heard anything at Bradford?

Wigan have been after Langley before, so it wouldn't be surprising if they still were.

I know we've tried to tempt him before and that's why when I read it and realized he was out of contract I thought there maybe something in it.

From a Wigan point of view I hope it's true, big fan of Langley.

he was supposed to be close to signing a few weeks back when we announced sykes re-signing. Getting a bit worrying that its dragging on so long now. He's the players likely to have biggest emotional attachment to macca and his injury which dragged on so long pretty much co-incided with announcement of maccas departure.

We certainly need to keep Langley, at the start of the season he looked world class, he would'nt have looked out of place against the Aussies.

Also i'd give Fozzard a year, only if Danny Sculthorpe is not with us next season. Fozzard and Palea'aesina on the bench.

I was told on Friday at Headingley that we've got him on a two year deal.

Think fozzard is retiring this year. Agree that we shouldnt have both him and sculthorpe. Scruton and lynch as starting props with 2 out off kopczak,paleasina, sculthorpe on bench plus hopefully the burgess twins pushing for a spot next year should be enough prop wise. Can't see Crossley being retained though. imo we need 6 props in squad to cover for injuries and dont think hall or langley should be relied upon as backup props.
