Doesn't anybody know when and if the bulls are planning on having the next fans forum? Would be quite nice to hear a little bit of info from within the club on the new coach issue, OSV, etc.

Also,at the last fans forum we were told that an offical launch of the new training centre would follow but the club has remained quiet on this issue which could be a good bit of PR for the club at the moment.

No point holding a fan's forum - for which some notice would be needed - to discuss the new coach issue when an appointment would seem to be very imminent??

I think you will find the club has the issue of the new training facility launch well in hand. Not really quiet oin the issue at all, especially in the last week or two. Was reported on an earlier thread that they wanted to get the fitting out etc substantially finished first, before the official opening.

Re the OSV...in the present climate of huge public spending cuts, I dread to think what the latest news will be! And its probably unfair to expect the club to know the likely outcomes any more than we do, since the public expenditure review processes are underway but will not be finalised until the autumn?

My guess is that the new coach will be contractually bound to his current club till the end of the season, and it would be inappropriate for him to appear until his current contractual obligations are completed?

the new training centre has already been kitted out by centurion. they have had a room full off soft pads from floor to ceiling for training tackling n stuff.

i recently recieved the new centurion catalogue and its in there with this years players stating they had recently done it out.

Hood said there was one planned for mid-season, must have gone out the window though.

Good to see some good publicity already then! Lot more to the new centre than just the pads - they are in a big new wrestling area. Loads of gym stuff for a start, as well as lecture theatre and classroom-type facilities and leisure areas and offices. Was in there last month, and it was mostly finished then. Apparently not that long before it still looked like a building site!

I suppose a combination of unexpectedly (?) losing your head coach, massive public spending cuts, losing your marquee player and being currently miles off the criteria for a "successful season" might perhaps have caused some reappraisal? Maybe ask the club if one is still planned? You don't want to risk a DILLIGAF-style public humiliation if they DO go ahead and hold one!

Which would mean a Fans Forum would be even better as there would be more questions.

Maybe a statement from Mr Hood (would take 30mins of his life) saying that a decision on the coach was on hold due to the candidates already in positions elsewhere, but would be sorted asap. Or that current results were not acceptable and an immediate improvement was expected....
