I dislike the Battlefield series after BC1 because it was just a terrible version of COD4.


COD4 is still the ultimate modern warfare game imo, it'll take some beating. The new Medal of Honour could do it in october though!!

Got MW2 and Battlefield but not really touched BC online yet. Went online and it all seemed quite tactical. I get the impression that BC would be great with a few mates online whereas MW you can happily play with your mates or just go solo online.

Need to buy MW2. Bought Red Dead Redemption and finished the missions in like two days. Was far too easy imo and quickly traded it in.

Just starting RDR now, enjoying it so far and looks great. I only tend to play an hours or so at a time so it should last me more than 2 days! Isn't there a load of other random missions dotted about too?

To be fair there is a lot to do. Quite a lot of missions away from the main story. It does start to become the same thing for each mission, but the storyline is strong. I'm not really a big gamer either. I just enjoy the GTA franchise and it is pretty much that. With exception to FIFA, PES or Tiger Woods, the last game i bought was GTA4.

Is that Red Dead Redemption the sequel to Red Dead Revolver? R D Rev, was quite good. Redemp look mint, wouldn't mind getting that one too.

tbh, I have to work pretty damned hard, and long hours, in my job, and I get tired out mentally. When I'm not working, if not sleeping or having a beer I'd much rather be doing something physical rather than mental. When I need a short break from work but am still at one of my desks, I often open a new window and briefly pop on here. I really don't reckon using mental energy on computer games would do me any favours, no matter how much I might want to have a go. And anyway, on the occasions when I HAVE had a go they are all too bloody addictive! As I bet you found!
