Full compliments to Mr McNamara tonight for completely stunning probably the majority of us. That was a magic comeback.

At half time I had my usual rant already written but I am glad I said nothing and saw it through to the end. Congratulations guys on a terrific comeback and that will go someway to avenging the play off disaster of a couple of years ago.

This week saw a big change for me. Yes, I am very critical of Bradford these days but I can accept criticism from our own fans but not so much that of other teams. The wiganers were, on the whole, hugely disrespectful of us this week and they head home along the M62 feeling somewhat foolish tonight I guess. Good.

I hope that I can be allowed this thread to not be merged tonight cos I will get it with both barrels I am sure but there is no case for the prosecution tonight, as that was remarkable.

Well done Bradford and I await the likes of Hogan, Odemwingie etc coming on here and eating a big portion of humble Pie after some of their comments.

My nerves are shocked to hell !! I was ready to have a good moan too, although I did think we looked up for it in the first half, despite what the scoreboard said.

Wigan have a great record for destroying teams in the first half, but we kept our composure and totally controlled the second half.

This is great for the lads, because the belief is there, and it feels good from where I'm standing too.

Well done lads, you've proved you're up there with the best of them.

But M.E. makes a good point about the arrogance coming out of Wigan - I presume from their newer fans, since time-served Wigan fans have always been a great crowd of decent supporters. Maybe a few more should heed the implied message about it being a damn sight better to hang together than to hang separately?

In my defence - I said all along that I thought we were going to do it tonight. Look at the Wigan game thread. I had a "Saints away" feeling, and so it proved.
It was almost destiny after the arrogance of some Wigan fans on here.

What on earth could they be complaining about? Bentham gave them two attempts to score that try and they still couldn't manage it.

I think our fitness really showed tonight, by the last 10 L'Estrange was making good yards from dummy half and obviously Koppy came on and gave us extra energy up front whilst Wigan looked 'dead on their feet'

What a comeback!!! as good as Halifax in 97, can't believe we managed to comeback and get the win at the death, thought we would fall just short, think the wind had a big influence on the dominence of each team, when attacking the scoreboard end

Absolutely brilliant second half and I've not seen the family stand rock for the last 20 minutes like it did tonight.

After a couple of cries of "Forward!" from our fans, the Wiganer behind me shouted "Are you Saints? You whinge like them!" - and then proceeded to whinge about every single tackle and every single refereeing decision.

I've had too many beers now, but feck it, great result!!!!

Couldn't be happier. A great effort by the lads, but we can't keep giving teams a 20 minute head start on us. I don't know if it's the warm up or what, but it needs addressing.

I was dissapointed when I went to the little boys room just as they scored to go 20-0 up, and a handfull of so called fans were leaving. They were all having their say on whos fault it was!!

Apart from those few idiots, who have missed a real "I was there" night IMO I thought the support tonight was the best in a long while.

At half time I don't think I was alone when I was thinking we should just go back to plan A and turn the lights off again.

Psychological as much as anything, the 2nd try just put a bit of a ? in their heads - and we just applied the pressure. Tomkins kicking game just vanished.

The main thing that gets the stand rocking - it is not great tries, it is not a great comeback.

The main thing is keeping the opposition out when we feel (rightly or wrongly)they have been given lucky ( or plain wrong) calls from the ref which got them in a scoring position. The sound that comes down from the stand then is amazing. The defence was great in that 2nd half.

Orford was not totally pleased at the after match interview though was he?
