I would say the referee i don't have any problems with is Ben Thaler.

I though Ganson was excellent on Friday.

I've also got a lot of time for Thierry Allibert as Video Ref.

Could be worse.

As long as it's not Allibert I don't care who it is.

Allibert is a great ref, he adds a sense of mystery to the game!

You are joking!! he got everything that he saw spot on, everybody misses little things, you cant see through players legs if theyve got a little hand in..both sides always get away with a few things and you have to take rough with smooth..a ref doesnt have multiple camera angles and slow mo, hes got a split second to see and make a judgement.

When Wigan put a perfect chase in aftera kick, he pulld J.Tomkins for a high shot on Cockayne which was actually shoulder height. He missed countless interferences at the ptb by Hull KR, and he let both sides lie on for ridiculous amounts, the opposite to all the other refs i've seen so far.

So because one ref allows longer for the tacklers to lie on at the ptb hes wrong??
All refs ref differently, you have to play to the whistle, play to the ref..Leeds are especially good at lying on but looking at the ref, as soon as hes about to blow they pull each other off.

I love it how refs are always the reason teams lost ..maybe more people should try and do it themselves.

I've been there and done it, got several of the shirts and finished last year.
IMO Ian didn't have the best game on friday night for reasons that have already been mentioned earlier.
