ideas when the new Boots n' All show starts as first SL game only days away.

I hope it gets better this year!!!

Last couple of years it's been pretty poor. As much as I like the imput from Barry Mac and Terry Newton on gameday I think at times they make Boots N All a mockery with their stupid sketches which tell us absolutely nothing about the game..

I don't want to know what players do in their past time, I would much prefer extended highlights and more chat about the stories of the week. The Rugby Show puts us to shame!!!

I have no problem with the humour and sketches etc.
I get the feeling they're trying to emulate Soccer am - a format that clearly is a winner!

Me too. I quite like the humour as it takes away from people like Paul Cullen rambling on for 20 minutes about exactly the same point.

I'm sure I heard there's a new "Tries" show this year on Mondays, so as far as extended highlights go, I think that will satisfy.

I understand what they might be trying to do but I just don't think its working. Soccer AM isn't trying to be a serious Football programme as its based mainly around the fans.

In football you have Goals on Sunday for all the goals (obviously), Sunday Suppliment for in depth chat, The Last Word for game analysis and Soccer AM for the fun factor. Something like 8 hours worth i think (could be a little off) yet Boots N All get 1 single hour!!!

Boots N All either needs to decide which concept to go for and stick to it rather than be everything to everyone.

Boots 'n All needs take a leaf out of the rugby club.

I record it but tend to fast forward through most of it. It is better than the SL show though, that really is poor.

Isn't Rugby Club 2 hoursa long? Boots N All was a better when it was two hours IMO. Now it all just feels rushed.

"Boot's 'n' All - The Tries" which will air for any hour every monday night from Feb 8th. Self explanitory what will be in that show.

But the extra hour was for NRL highlights, which they no longer have the rights to.

I am happy that Sky are going to be doing another 1 hour programme, showing all the tries, but why did they have to tuck it away at 11:30PM. This is a record and look at later programme (for me)

will sky still be doing their online offering? that was pretty good and showed all the tries from the round.

alternatively you could log on to the super league website for tries of your club. there's plenty of highlight offerings out there and they are there for whenever you want them too.
