Can we take your word for that? What evidence do you hold (or have ever held)?

I see he is STILL trotting out the same old "lessons can be learned" poppy. Just a shame he did not learn any as the season went on last year.



TBH, if anyone actually believes anything he says anymore I would be very surprised.

Is your glass always half empty?

Not at Christmastime, no. Usually refilled when I am near the bottom.



It is nothing to do with my glass being half empty. It is more to do with the fact that I actually find it quite strange that our clown of a coach actually expects us to believe this crap after so long. Does he honestly believe that Bradford fans are all stupid?



He made plenty of noise and made plenty of claims last season and how many of these "promises" did he deliver? None at all.

I'm prepared to give the team and him some time, we all know what happened last year but if we start with a negative attitude then whats the point of going to watch the team.



The signings we've made seem to point to a more positive season and I'm going to get behind the team, I think we all know this is really a do or die season for him..personally I'll do my bit by shouting the team on whether i thought he should or should not be there last season.

Hmmm. I think the way we finished (and "yes" it would have been far better if we'd been like that ALL year) would point to the fact, to some, that some lessons were learned.

I think the article gives a little more insight in to what's going on behind the scenes. IMO it seems a sensible approach to building the club back up.

I have to admit that I was sick to death hearing from McNamara the same excuse after every defeat last year and about how we could take positives from it. I think the problem is that even for all the "we'll learn from this" blah blah there didn't seem to be much studying going on.



Still, the nucleous of that squad has been replaced. We've a potentally exciting half back combination for the first time in about 6 years and given that the majority of our signings have come from the same club there should not be a great issue with them gel'ing



so as it's xmas, let us put down our keyboard weapons and raise a glass to the hope of a better 2010
