| Quote “There’s a lot of quality players and I’ll be delighted to be in the team wherever it is, whether it’s prop, second row or hooker. I just want to get in the Bradford Bulls team.” '"
Well Platty, prove the doubters wrong next season. When you get on the pitch show us you do have quality and no-one can criticise that. Great statement from Platt, and I hope all of the players donning the RAB next season show Pride and Passion for our great club.

| Is it just me, or are there very strong vibes coming out that all was far from right in the team last season? Someone IIRC posted on here several names who were supposed to be the dissenters in the squad. Now I've no idea of the truth or otherwise of that, but the names that cropped up - Newton, Jeffries and (surprisingly) Morrison - have all gone. But there again, if they came to realise there would be no new contract (acceptable to them) then maybe they'd be not that chuffed anyway?
We also of course have seen the back of Solomona, who I suspect may have been the focus of some issues if only because of his package, and the Tupou affair is behind them.
We do seem to be getting a surfeit of "positive" messages coming out of the players/Stuart/whoever though, far more than last year. And I picked precisely the same vibes up talking to a very senior club official a few weeks ago, and for sure he was being genuine. He was VERY optimistic for the coming season, and was chuffed to bits with the new signings (and that was before Orford) whom he felt might surprise more than a few people.
And you know what? I have a sneaking suspicion his confidence will prove to be justified.

Completely agree Adey.
I said on many occasions through last season that things didn't seem right behind the scenes and I had a suspicion it was Newton (though this was totally unsubstantiated on my part).
The attitude being broadcast at the moment and if transposed on to the field can be THE SOLE difference to losing by a score and winning by a score....a fact we know only too well after last year.
I'm always a "glass is half full" kind of guy, but I'm extra optimistic prior to 2010, roll on Feb!

I hope you're right Adey. The cynic in me says wait to see how we go first but hopefully you're right. We still have to remember that with two new halfbacks and a hooker we'll take time to gel together. It takes time to learn new combinations. I do think we're a couple of players away from the top two or three sides and that leaves us with another seven or eight sides of similar ability.

| It did occur to me several times as an observer, and i may have made comment of it on here, but last season we had too many chiefs and not enough indians. we had several players who were capable of leading the team, unfortunately for us, the team didn't seem to know which one they were supposed to follow. hopefully this is behind us and the team will all be pulling in the same direction for 2010
