I've said before it's part of a cunning plan to get him on the cheap. Get Souths to buy him, then make sure he's homesick by getting Luke to ring his constantly asking him to come home, then sign him on loan as part of our link up with Souths - thereby avoiding a transfer fee and the return to Bradford clause on a technicality as he'll be on loan and so the clause will not apply

Talk of him coming back is a bit premature. Lets move on people!
The odds are that if he comes back we won't be able to afford him (not sure where things stand contractually but we still have to pay him!). Leeds could not get Morley or Harris back despite how much their fans loved them and I doubt Ellis will go back to Leeds either.
I see he's getting a lot of big raps in the press down under so there's a lot of pressure to perform. Don't be surprised if it takes him longer to bed in than Ellis did. After all Ellis had walked the walk in big games for a few years before he went, IMO Burgess has not shown up as well as he should have against the better teams (difficult to know if thats his teammates influence though!). Be interesting how he goes for England
