Are you mad - Obst has been awesome this season - would have walked in to the Bradford team.

He's just had his best season ever for Wakey and looked pretty good.

I agree, he's been outstanding for Wakey. In the televised games featuring Wakefield I've watched him closely because of the rumour he might be coming to the Bulls and he's always been a threat. He just about won the match against Hull KR on his own despite getting mullered. All credit to him, hope he continues to do well.

He didn't have a particularly good game in Edinburgh, definately blows hot and cold, much aklin to Jeffries

He wouldn't have been a first choice signing for me, but I think he gets overlooked due to his gnome like deportment, meaning no one notices when he plays ok, and when he plays well it's dismissed as an exception. From what I've seen he's a decent all round player, versatile, tough and difficult to read. Like I said, hope he continues to go well for Wakey.

Probably the best pound for pound player in SL. Incredibly versatile & consistent, never gives less than 100%. Maybe he reminds me of me too much.
For those who say he is not consistent, I could name 17 Bulls players more inconsistent.

Pound for pound has to be Kevin Brown - not only because it rhymes but he only looks about 12 years old and must only weigh about 12 stone!

Are you mad? Not that I'd want you guys to sign him (far from it), but he is nothing like Jeffires at all and has been fantastic this year. Yes, he had some really bad games around the middle part, but there were three exceptionally good reasons for that. With the things he's had to deal with this year it's a wonder he's even playing at all, let alone playing well enough to win the Wakey man of steel this year. One of our most important signings for next season, until Brough adds his name to the list.

Sounds like the perfect player for Wakey then.

I like Obst I would have him aty Bradford any day although i really like Godwin but Obst is much better than Jefferies and has been awesome whenever I've watched him and Wakey are lucky but Kear gets the best out of most players.
