I know I've been critical of the lads and Macca, but I do think that we can turn missing out on the playoffs into a positive. I think this will make them stronger as a group of players next season, and I believe they will go into every game knowing that they have really got to battle for the win and knowing that they can not afford to leave it late again. As Macca said earlier on in the week, this season has been a different but positive experience for the players and I kind of agree with him now.

I'm so proud of the lads tonight/last night, and I'm so proud that so many loyal Bulls fans made the trip to Hull to support the team(all staff included).

Well... This season is over. I'd be lying if i said it wasn't a huge disappointment, but there was a huge effort tonight and the atmosphere was top. Well deserving of a final game of the season.

I just hope that we improve next year. Hopefully the club won't wait till to late in the season next time to actually sort it out. TBF to the team they had looked to turn a corner, even if it was too late and could be due to having no pressure on them at all as the playoffs was never expected given results.

I'm certainly very proud of last nights efforts and the efforts of the team in the last 5 games. I thought we toughed it out last night in a pretty difficult match for us against a side who had nothing to lose.

However it has largely been a very disappointing year and fell well below expectations. Despite some long term injuries this side should have been well within the mix for the top 6. I've left Odsal and places like Wigan, Salford, Hull KR, Cas pretty dejected and utterly fed up with our performance.

But the season is over, McNamara is our coach for next year and I will be renewing my season ticket later today. He still has a lot to prove in his final year, I just hope he has recruited the right people both alongside him and on the pitch to have a more successful season next year. On this seasons showing we have a fair bit of ground to make up.

I thought I would be sick if we lost out but the display from the team and the fans made it somehow.....good. (in a bizzare way)

I haven't checked the news sites so don't know if anything has been announced but there are some exciting changes in the back room staff and after talking the board into keeping him on at the end of last season Macca has one more chance to do something and I think he will.

Im happy to let Steve Mac have some games at the start of the next season to prove himself but a bad start will ensure that the pressure comes flooding back to see him go.
