That's awful. Not sure what else there is to say, other than that I hope everyting goes as well for them as it can, given the circumstances.

Awful news when it happens to anyone, but always seems to hit home more when it's someone in the limelight. Here's hoping both of them get through it as best is possible.

Jeez thats awful. Deepest sympathies to both of them. As af said, not much more you can say other than hoping that their friends and family are there for them in their time of need.

My best mates sister has gone through the same thing and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. They'll be devastated.

Simply awful news. What can you say? My heart goes out to them. It happened to a friend of mine not so long back and it takes a lot of getting over.

I think maybe the Bulls should offer him a release from his contract with us on compasionate grounds. At a time like this maybe it'd be better for him and his family to stay closer to home than move half way round the world

I was thinking along those lines when I read the article. Thinking it might be possible that Glenn asks for a release of his contract. I wouldn't begrudge the man such a thing one bit after this and it's probably important for them to be around people they love in Australia at this difficult time.

Of course it depends on what kind of person he is when it comes to dealing with stuff like this. It might be that the best way of dealing with it for them is just to get on with the rest of their lives and perhaps that may mean coming over here. I suppose if this had happened in February instead of now, it would be a completely different story.

Regardless it's still a massive tragedy and my thoughts are with them. Like you say no matter what he and his family decide - the club and the fans will support that decision.

Indeed. For some people, work is the only way to get over bereavement - but if he wants to be with people close to him, I'm sure no one would begrudge him a release. My deepest sympathies to him and his wife either way.

I can empathise totally with what Glenn and his wife are going though, they will cope in their own way but our thoughts are with them at this very sad time.
