| Was told earlier in the week that Halley's injury was a dead leg. Wasn't sure if he was gonna be ok for this match or not, so we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

IF, (yes in capitals) Halley is out - who goes to Fullback?
Do we entrust Platt or Sykes?
The easy option is Sykes, but is Jeffries fit enough to play a full game and defend with Platt and Sheriffe down our right side?
Halley best be match fit is all I can say - I've very little confidence in the other options as the Platt option means moving four or five players. Sykes option probably less so but still not great.

IMO Platt should go to FB in the absence of Halley, he's had a few good games under his belt now and his confidence is returning.

It was Monday morning when I was told, so sounds like it might have cleared up. Good news if so.

Besides his awesome track back to deny the guy that try he was his same usual self which is pretty poor. He only played about 15 mins anyway. Didnt do anything for me.

I know, but I think his extra pace in the pack, plus his bigi game scoring record would seal it for me. That was quality though, gotta admit.

Agreed. The track back was quite superb, but as someone pointed out, they only got through in the first place because of the gap Worrincy left (although I myself didn't see who left the gap admittedly).
I'd rather see Donaldson in there, but as long as Worrincy doesn't go shooting out of the line leaving stupidly big gaps, I'm ok with him for the moment.

It was, him and Platt that fannied about at that tackle.
With Donaldson you know that you're going to get a good defender because he gets into good position to make the tackle and then makes it count instead of being brushed out or being caught short.

He went off holding and stretching his lower back if that's any indication.

| He looked to be in considerable pain when he came off. I hope he makes a full recovery, but we could do with a safer player in the squad on Friday.

| Looking at [url=http://www.saintsrlfc.com/news/2058Saints 19 man squad[/url it doesn't look like they're taking the "Millward" path into the final and resting all their top players.

After Stains performance at the Whinos last week I think they need to field as strong a team as possible to get used to their game plan tbh they looked a bit out of sorts against Leeds.
