Whitehead is the man to miss out. Although I like Jeffries, I think it would be daft to change the key positions around when they've actually found some form. 18th Man for me.

I'd give BJ and Sykes a run together as a half back pairing.
Highly doubt it will happen though.

why? its extremely unlikely jeffries will be here next year. unless deacon or sykes is nursing an injury we should give them as much game time together as possible. Hopefully we'll bring in another half for next yearbut failing that or in the event of injury then we'll need sykes and deacs to develop as much of an understanding of each others games as possible for next year.

Sykes and Deacon will have plenty of time to practice together during the off season so that is no excuse to drop the guy who, despite not playing for the last few weeks, is still in second place for try assists this season.

Why wouldn't you change a winning side, mix up a combination that has started to gel well and bring in a player who hasn't played in months?



I think McNamara would be incredibly brave to change too much right now. BJ has had a good season and was our best playmaker before he got injured but Sykes and Deacon have found some form and I think they deserve their spots. Perhaps BJ on the bench but I wouldn't change the starting line up.

Keep the same starting line up that won the last game/s. There's no reason to play Ben Jeffries. This is the best HB pairing we've had all season and we're playing well, there's no reason to change a thing. Adding BJ will break the rythm in my books and I wouldn't be surprised to see us revert back to how we were before we found some form should we decide to play Ben.

Ben Jefferies has been OK this year but shouldn't play on sunday because sykes and deacs have been playing really well together but them two are not the answer we need half backs desperatley but good luck to Ben at Celtic next year, he has been class against saints and wakey at the magic weekend but doesn't do it enough.

I agree. No reason at all to change the starting halfback pairing this weekend, I'll be very disappointed and surprised if McNamara does. The only place for BJ would be on the bench and he can help rotate Godwin.
