| Very similar to first half last week. Nero is having another blinder and our second try was quality. I think me and the people I'm with are the only bulls fans in this stand and the giants lot around me aren't too happy. Quite a few of our fans in end stand near me though.
Hopefully we can keep this up!

| Bulls were really good tonight and Nero and Sykes were probaly our stand out players but everyone played ok and deacs kicking was perfect as usual but bit disappionted we didn't push on in second half and win by more but our slim hopes are still alive keep this form and beat Catalan and Salford at home hopefully and on this form we'll beat Hull in the final game. Keep it up boys!

I'm sorry, is this in English or am I having some sort of stroke?
As far as the game goes, we played well, although I thought Sykes' brain f*rt might mess it up at the end.
One player that deserves quite a bit of praise imo is Michael Platt. Seeing how he played tonight, he could make a decent centre. He made some excellent tackles tonight and saved a try at the end.
I would have had Nero as man of the match though.
In a slightly bizarre moment, after the match, the lady sat in front of me decided to say hello and mentioned how she was Michael Lawrence's mum. Probably a good job it wasn't Scott Moore or Liam Fulton's mum considering some abuse I hurled their way.... Nice friendly lady though, clearly disappointed her son wasn't in the 17 (which apparently he was too, as he thought he might get a game this week).

| If everyone who had given platt a bit of stick during this season posted in here to give credit where it was due, this thread would be huge.
It's only fair to congratulate a player on a good performance if you're going to criticise a bad one.
He was up against Paul Whatuira tonight. Anybody remember Whatuira doing anything going forward at all? Me neither.
Well done Michael Platt.

| Another excellent first half, almost a copy of last week. Some heroic defence and outstanding attacking plays. We looking good at the moment, lets just kick on and finish the season with a flourish.
Well played.

| Huddersfield were rattled tonight. They lost it a bit I felt. Their discipline seemed to go. Plenty for Wire to ponder on for two weeks I think.
I wonder if Moore will be available after that challenge?
Can someone tell me why they got a penalty when the Bulls took a Hudds player into touch? Not the one where Hodgson did a VT and got lifted into touch but the one when the player was on his feet all the time and was pushed out. How was that a penalty? And can a dropped ball now be given as a try? Ridiculous decision.

same way Deacon's try was knocked off for being a knock on. I've never seen them go back to a grubber kick before. And I think if they did there'd be a lot less tries given close to the line

If it's the one I'm thinking it is, it was due to the momentum being stopped I think, and then the Bulls players kept pushing. If it's the right incident I'm thinking of, I thought it was the right decision at the ground, but I didn't watch a replay of it or anything, so couldn't be sure.

That was another weird decision. He clearly kicked it. When is a grubber kick not a grubber kick?

| I don't really have any complaints about the decisions from the ref tonight.
Kirmond's was a try imo, we've seen the ball being grounded by the body rather than just hands on countless occasions this season, this one was no different.
Deacon did drop the ball, a shame really because I reckon he did intend to grubber through like that, but just lost his grip as he went to kick it.
As for the penalty hudds got for throwing that guy into touch, as soon as David Hodgson began to add his weight to the tackle, the ref called held. The players didn't hear him and carried on obviously, but once the ref calls held the tackle is over.
Whether he [ishould[/i have called held is still open for discussion

| Well done, a good victory against a good side, I'm confused as to what has gone wrong for Bradford this season, there were signs tonight that you should be much higher in the table than you are (remember beating Leeds and Saints?), but signs sometimes of stupidity (Sykes' sin-binning, for instance).
I'll be interested to see what is done about Tadulala's behaviour too.
Do you think you can reach the play offs?
As Eddie said, mathematically possible, but unlikely. Let's say you did, and you made it to week 3 of the playoffs... Would a team want to choose you as the opposition?
Unpredictability can be an advantage, too...

Meaning?
I assume you mean pulling Eorl's hair? He should get it cut then shouldn't he.
In the scheme of some of the stuff that went on tonight, that was nothing. Perhaps some of the players shouldn't try and dish it out if they don't want it back.

| Great first half again.
Thought we did well to stop the rot in the second half. It would have been easy to fold and end up losing the game.
IMO there wasn't much too different to the rest of the season, a bit of confidence, believe and a bit of luck can work wonders!

I think the stick was more than justified though. In saying that, he's gone away and worked on his game in the reserves and come back looking a better player in centres.
I tweeted this in game - Great defence michael platt. Start the car!
But I also did one questioning why he dragged hodgson into touch - he did play well though

But Hodgson had done a VT. Why can't Platt pick him up and carry him where he likes?
Is it still a penalty for a VT?
