Think Deacs has got a good chance of winning it but it'll be tough to beat brough and that young kid from huddersfield but Deacs is still a great kicker and will be around the top 3 kickers i'd say.

Most of the other clubs seem to be ignoring the competition by sending unknown academy players.
I'll have to watch it on the iplayer anyway, as can't get Super League Show through my Sky and don't have an aerial.

I heard Brough and Hemingway were representing Wakefield and Huddersfield? Any other names?
If Brough was there, I gotta say I'm surprised that Deacs managed to beat him.

I thought the best round was the "pressurised drop goal" where you took a drop goal from right in front of the sticks under no pressure at all.
The round where you had to chip it over someone stood still and collect it was also one hell of a challenge.
Who comes up with these competitions, surely it would have been better to at least attempt to mimic a situation you might come up against in an actual match?

2003 = 79%
2004 = 79%
2005 = 74%
2006 = 76%
2007 = 83%
2008 = 83%
His stats this year have him at 79% so far.
That's not much of a drop in standards. |
