Just 2 wins at home all season



How long since it was worse than this ?

My dad said things were bad when Northern went bust things in 63/64 and have just checked - won 1 from 11 games at home before season was ended in December 63.

Root of problems is home form. But why ?

Would rather shout crap at McNamara then give the players our support and hence a lift.

Mick is not wrong about some fans though, even if not about the reason for the unacceptable home form.

Here comes the age old argument that paying fans can voice their opinion be it negative or positive. blah blah yadaa yadaa

Way I see it is you take the good with the rough.

After enjoying the good times for so long, a bit of loyalty is what supporting is all about.

But Odsal used to be such a fortress that this season has been really hard to take for a lot of fans, unfortunately.

At least Bulls should win last two at home v Salford and Catalans, shouldn't they ??

Play with yourself on your own time. I merely made an observation, with no reference whatsoever to any argument, and was referring to any number of posts on here about such people seen and heard at matches.

Is that meant as a rhetorical question? I mean I`ll be HOPING (with muted expectations) that we can win the last two but then again I`ve been hoping we might win the other home games as well, so I`ll be taking nothing for granted. We`ve lost so many by the odd point or six that our luck has to turn doesn`t it? You can work out whether that`s a rhetorical question.

But while our away form is good enough for the eight, our home form is wooden spoon standard. So we're not really anywhere nearer explaining the disparity.

Seven wins from thirteen away from home = 53%. Given that you'd expect us to win about ten percent more of our home games than away, that should have translated into about seven wins from eleven at Odsal - so twenty-eight points that would have put us fifth. It's the home form that has dragged us down.
