Well I told Bullseye that Halley's improvement was thanks to Macca. Also Nero's improvement on last season.

Although things arent as bad as many would have them seem I still believe the naysayers calling for Macca to go at the start of this season have on the whole been proven right by the course of events.

BUT - if Macca is with us for 2010 I would like to think said naysayers will give him a break and a chance to turn over new leaf until 10 games into next season!

Any idiot could've told Halley that he needed to work on his support play. Watching some recordings of Withers would show the example he needs to learn from.

Another thing Halley needs to work on is his step and elusive skills. He may have good speed but he rarely beats the first defender.

But as I recall Macca sent him to Solomona's for a week pre-season to bulk him up and now he is breaking tackles for fun

Nice sentiment, but if said naysayers have been proven right this season, why would they then give him a third of next season before criticising his coaching? I presume if he's still in charge it will be evident from game one that the team has turned over a new leaf, or are you suggesting he should be given time to 'rebuild' the team he built in the first place, the one that wasn't very successful?
