| Why can't McNamarra get the boys to do that at home? Shocking season, no doubt normal service will be resumed next week. One win followed byt 2 or 3 losses. We'll still be very lucky if we finish above 12th.
I wonder if the Club will see fit to make any announcements to tempt the crowds?

| Joey said that the last thing that comes good for an emerging player is consistency. Maybe that works for coaches too.

Quote The Newcastle board thought they were seeing patterns. Which brings us to a book called The Drunkard's Walk – How Randomness Rules Our Lives, in which Leonard Mlodinow exposes the thought-errors made by captains of industry.
Mlodinow cites the case of Sherry Lansing, a high-flyer who ran Paramount when the studio churned out Forrest Gump, Braveheart and Titanic. Then her numbers dried up, from 11.4% to 6.7% of market share, across six years. A parting was arranged and her reputation was mangled in the movie trade press. In the pipeline, when she was dropped, were War of the Worlds and The Longest Yard: two Lansing-backed hits that brought Paramount bouncing back.
The point was that numbers deceived and "trends" misled. '"

| More - six wins away from Odsal, only two there. Replicate the away form at home and we would be on 25 points - 5th! Replicate the home form away and we'd be in a dogfight for the spoon with the CCs...
City had a problem with home form a little while ago, didn't they? Any suggestions as to why we should struggle where we should be hard to beat? Didn't we have the reverse problem last year?

| I know it's been said before, but if McNamara could have motivated them a bit more for games they could have easily won : Castleford (Both), Celtic (H), Salford (A), Wakey (A), Hull KR (A), Quins (H), Hudds (H) and Wigan (H). That would leave us on 35, 1 point behind St Helens ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif) .
I know thats irrelevant now, but all those games were there for the taking, could have been won, and many should have been won.

Indeed.
The competition is such that margins are tight, but as you point out, this season could have easily been very different couldn't it?
