Good luck to them, hope it has a similar effect to our '96 trip.

Pleased for Wire they have seemed to progressing forward now they have a quality coach at the helm. They did already have most of the ingredients there already to be doing a lot better than they were doing. I expect some pretty shred signings by Smith will have them challenging for a GF spot next year.

Not too fussed about who they play in the Final though, it'd be nice to see Saints get there and lose though!

I'm going for Warrington. Think the TS effect will help them to it.

Think defence wins these type of matches, and Giants are better at that. Nathan Brown seems to have made a great effect on them.

I said the same thing earlier when Huddersfield won. There's been too many years where I've just looked at the teams in the final and knew I wasn't gonna enjoy it. Now I don't really care which team wins and it could be a very good game. Bring it on.

Good to see Hudders and the Wire get through to the final. Saints getting their again would've been as boring as poop.

As a neutral I'm not bothered who wins but my tip is Hudders. They look the more organised and consistent outfit. If they all stay healthy between now and the final they'll win the big one.

I think it's great for the sport that two teams that haven't won a trophy for yonks have made it through!

I wouldn't say yonks. One of them won the cup only 11 years ago.

While I wish each club well, I find Wire fans to be pretty kn.bhead-heavy at games (91 RT, 2001 semi, every away game at Wilderspool, MM last year) and Shudds fans pretty tedious online (never seen very many at any game). So whoever wins, one bunch is going to be pretty insufferable in their own way. Bearing that in mind, and seeing as I'm out of the country, come on the Wire...

Huddersfield aren't exactly broke. They just don't spend quite so extravigantly as Wire do.

I think I'll support Huddersfield. Jimmy is still at Wire and I like Wire fans more than Hudds fans but I think that Huddersfield deserve it more. They've patiently built that team from scratch and have shown they can keep consistent form.
Plus it's no small matter to beat St Helens in a cup match, even without Sean Long.

i think i'll be shouting for wire due to the fact that the hudds fans have been more annoying on here.

I think it will be a really good final, which makes a change because quite often it has been something of a foregone conclusion before it even starts. I mean St Helens vs Hull was boring last year - Saints knew they could pull their finger out and win it at any point

This year looks a pretty even contest - a nice clash of styles with Huddersfield being very strong defensively, Wire being a cavalier attacking team.

Should be a real cracker, I'm looking forward to it. Plus it will be nice not to have St Helens or Leeds winning it
