Depends what u call star potential.

As fbs go hyde is in front of hellawell but hellawell has miles more potential, he will be our future number 1 not hyde.

Wardle for me has more potential than hyde as well at 6..hyde is good but some people think hes the next messiah when he`s not.

You could say crossley has star potential and may have to move on to get noticed but then u move lilycrop, burgess boys up..beginning of season rick barr was playing better than crossley but now isnt.

Adam o brien has more potential than horton so has jake or luke senior depending who ur talking to hes got different names.

Donaldson is the one who has broken thru and claimed his place tho, whitehead is good without being owt special.

Lilycrop gets a lot of mentions in the papers and seems very consistent.

Does Crookes not count any more?

He's been dead unlucky this year as the form and availability of our centres would have guaranteed him a place in the side if he's been fit.

As it is he's lost a year's development.

Again he`s good but doesnt have star potential and deffo not in top 5 youngsters at bradford.

Top 5 youngsters doesn't really matter, at the beginning of the season he was a top 3 centre at the club.

Since that was the original question was who is our top 5 prospects then yes it does matter, crookes has potential but hes not in top 5 youngsters at the club.

You'd have to say the yougsters in the 1st team squad were all our top ones.

Burgess, Halley, Donaldson, Whitehead, Crookes.

They dont have to be in the first team now, but which players will make the biggest impact in the future as have Sam Burgess and Dave Halley.

Ben hellawell, tom lilycrop, tom burgess, adam o brien, rob hawthorne, james donaldson.

Both Burgesses + Olbison + Tate are closely behind aswell imo, if you do not include Sam, Crookes etc.

Not counting Sam as he's already established first team and I'm still to be covinced about Crookes.

Fully agree boss, some people read that hyde kicked a couple of goals or did a surging run downfield and think he`s the answer to all our prayers, but he`s not, I know he`s been injured and picked up another knock at weekend but this year he`s got worse, looks like he`s just running his contract out now rather than kicking on, but you cant blame him as we`ll use anyone at 6 rather than him and if halley moves from fb platt slots in.

Halley will never be a 6 as long as I've got a hole in my butt.

He didn't mean that, I think he meant if Halley has to move to the wing then Platt gets in at FB over Hyde.

Exactly menat that hyde can play fb or s/o..we will use sykes, menzies, morrison, jefferies before him so wont get in squad there..and for fb we`ll use halley, platt, sykes, sherriffe before him so wont get in there, cant see us ever seeing him in a first team shirt.
