I mentioned him as a signing last year. Also Leeds tried to do a deal to bring him other for the rest of this season.

it said in most of articles about leeds signing delaney that they looked at millard as well but settled on delaney. whether that was by choice or because we outbid them for milllard I guess we'll find out next year when we see the two players in action.

The doggies wouldn't release millard early because of their injuries at the time so GH wouldn't release smithy.

This looks like a much more viable signing than some of the other names that are bandied round - a decent quality NRL player who is not quite top level, but young enough and (hopefully) hungry enough to make a success of a spell in the Super League.

Let's be honest, he can't be much worse a centre than Sykes, so it must be an improvement.

What will Sykes' role be next season then? If we sign Kearney to Play 6, and Millard to play centre is he just going to be left covering the backs? If so, why give him another contract as i'm sure we have oyungsters to cover the backs.

Tbh if Kearney was on a fair bit - as an unproven half- i'd rather have Sykes until we can find a quality 6.

He looks quality in the Youtube clip, he loves feeding his winger, and them offloads are of the highest standard. He has a great step too, he seems to be in the mould of a Shontayne Hape type centre. I know you cant take too much from a youtube clip but he certainly looks the part.
