depends if semi is fully fit.if so platt to drop out. if morrison fully fit then I'd be tempted to drop langley myself.

I think Worrincy deserves to be dropped instead of Langley. Whe he's not there we do miss Langley in defence as he is a workhorse in defence and rarely misses a tackle.

I think this is a myth yes he gets through a lot of work but for a defensive second rower, he drops off a lot of tackles

I think you'll find he's our most effective -defensively- second rower.

problem is he offers nothing going forward. runs straight at opposition and takes a tackle, very rarely offloads. cant really compare worrincy to langley as one is a player who makes a big impact off the bench ( although not as good in a starting role as shown last week). thats why I said drop langley and replace with morrison if fit as morro is also very strong defensively but also offers a lot more in attack.

| Have to admit it's rare you see an offload from him but he does make a fair few metres, although not as many as Burgess or Menzies.

Nail on the head. Worrincy is currently coming in for some criticism but for mine he's a bench player not a starter. We've had a few of them in the last decade or so - Medley and Anderson spring to mind - and impact off the bench is essential in the modern game. Just look at Saints visit to Odsal this year.....

everyone goes on about impact props but impact 2nd row is an equally valid role these days. just look at puletua at saints or lauititi at leeds

Worrincy and Platt to go for me, however, I fear one or even both youngsters might get the chop.

| Mat's right when he says you can't compare Worrincy to Langley. Worrincy is a long way short of being the same calibre of player Langley is. Worrincy has nothing except pace.

Indeed. I'd give serious thought to Platt on the wing, heresy though that may be to the scapegoat brigade.

Well I was saying who I expect to miss out, not who I thought should
If it was based on recent form then it would be any two from Langley, Sheriffe or Deacon - but we know that its far more likely to be Platt and Cook....

| I don't think Sheriffe is that bad. He works hard and looks ok when he actually gets the ball but he's either playing outside Menzies who I think is nowhere near as effective in the centres as the second row where he absolutely rips it up or Sykes who never gives him any ball in decent positions.
