Well for halifax it's quite simple...

1. Change your name to Toulouse Olympique
2. Move to Toulouse
3. Hope that a Scottish team doesn't emerge in the next three years.

Typical "it's all Bradford's fault we're carp" rubbish that fax fans wheel out when there's nothing else to do.

It's not our fault that our club went out and martketted themselves in the local area. I only wish they'd do a bit more of that now, maybe boost our gates a little.

Perhaps a merger with Bradford would put a stop to all this fighting over which fans were stolen by who etc - the Bradford Bulls Sox anyone?

Look when we're both playing at the Shay after 2012 in the Championship it will be the divisions great rivalry match!

I have posted before on your board, and some may recognise that I am a fax fan who goes to Odsal, when the games dont clash.

But I dont agree with the tripe that the Bulls stole tha fax fans. Fans will choose where to go and who to watch on their own...

If you as a club managed to poach some youngsters from the depths of Halifax then fair play, its not an "out of bounds" area.

My grandaughter goes to school in Halifax and she has come home with free tickets for Bulls games and asked me to take her...

Well there you go. It's not a case of "this club stole our fans" it's more a case of "what did your club do to keep those fans in the first place?"

How close was it to happening?, remember we suggested it to them when mergers were being suggested but we were one of the teams that would have been in without a merger back in 1995

But it's all a load of bollox, though, isn't it?

A "merged" club would [ieither[/i play in Halifax [ior[/i play in Bradford. Where it played would be the team it really was.

If we "merged" with Halifax but the games were played in Halifax, to me Bradford would no longer exist and I'd have no interest at all in trailing to Halifax to watch the "merged" team, even if it was all the same players, and called Bradfordsox Bulls.

You can't fool the denizens of a town or city by using the word "merger" when in reality it would be nothing of the sort.

The stuff about pinching fans, or young players, is bollox too. As someone else said, and I agree, fans will choose where to go and spend their money. And the obvious (but opaque to thickos) point remains - someone trails from Halifax to watch Bradford does NOT mean they'd watch Halifax if Bradford disappeared. These fools assume that someone used to watch Halifax, but was seduced into coming to Bradford. I mean, you only have to read it to laugh at the absurdity.

And the thought that a kid who started life at a club should jolly well be obliged to play for it forever is the biggest load of bollox of all.

It would be tad ironic if we moved to Queensbury tip, which is now in far better nick following its revamp than our current facility

No seriously, I'd rather they were in SL. If not purely because it's an away game that I can get home from quicker coz it's closer than any other away match.

TBH I don't hate fax. I don't really think about them in anyway.

I doubt apart from a hotheaded handful anyone "hates" any team. well, Leeds, obviously. And Saints. But anyway not Fax.

I often long for the days of snowy winter derbies up at Thrum Hall, and there was always an absolutely cracking atmosphere whenever we played but especially away.

Good lot, the Halifax and personally I'm really pleased to see how well theyre doing. Mind you they should be bloody grateful that we sent them Agent Calland, who seems to have done the trick.

Don't hate them, think them going down has robbed us of a traditional big gate. I am a bit dubious about this one fan's actions, as I guess some of the parents of the kids at the school where he works/worked might be.

Dont hate them because i dont see them as relevant...in 2 seasons we shall revisit that point when trips to the Shay reappear
