Langleys lack of development is partly due to injuries and partly -imo- from bulking up too much.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there! My bro used to work with Ryan Atkins before he turned full time at Bradford and he said Langley had one of the most ripped backs he's ever seen. It's pretty clear from the way he staggers that he's too big, it's about time we got a fitness coach that develops lean quick players not bulky slow ones.

I don't see how Cook falls into the same boat though, he might give away a few too many penalties, but he's agressive and keen. A bit more game time would certainly not go amiss.

I never thought Cook have the ingredients to make a top class player and nothings changed my mind yet.

I think Cook is one of those players who does the graft and his first team opportunities have been stop start. I don't think we'll really know if he's good enough until he gets a consistent run.

I can't quote actual appearance numbers, but I'd say his had a fair enough crack at it over the last 2-3 years.

He's made 58 appearances since his debut in 2005 and 43 of those have come in 07, 08, 09.

Platt is another one, good for 6 months then poor after.
