I have read today in the league express a letter from one of your fans called Max Hey under the topic Bulls abandoned.

To cut a long story short he/she goes on to say that after losing to Celtic Crusaders at end of season he/she will start watching cougars and other clubs, whilst at cougars we welcome anyone I think this shows the person to be a bit of a fair weather fan.

Just because you lost to Crusaders who have done reasonable in 1st season continues to fuel the thoughts in rugby how fickle some are.

Quite ridiculous in my humble opinion.

Send him off to Hudds with the rest of the ex-Bulls fans.

You are entitled to your Point of View, but could you please clarify how exactly you feel that the Celtic Crusaders have had a reasonable season?

I agree, bad results, performances e.t.c can't stop you supporting a team and suddenly going onto another, then again it's personal choice and maybe a sign of fairweather supporters staying away. Some people will stay away, some may go looking for more attractive games to watch, I guess you pays your money and makes your choices, maybe people in either category fall into the category of a fan of rugby rather than a club I guess.

People will come and go but the club will still be here.

Where's the story? The fact is, no-one is obliged to spend money/time doing anything, including watching the Bulls, and all this talk of "fair weather" and "fickle" fans is just hot air. All the more so since the so-called "fair weather" and "fickle" fans, who are the target of this criticism, couldn't give a flying fsck and would probably be amused and bemused in equal measure that someone is so worried about what they choose to do in their spare time.

What I meant by reasonable is that apart from a couple of games they have not been hammered, be under no illusions I dont mind the bulls struggling but I dont like glory fans we have had our share too.

I don't think anybodies worried about them (ok maybe the club is), the challenge (whatever you call them) is how to bring them back. Coming to a game is a trade off, your satisfied and entertained watching the game or enjoying the game day experience or your not...if not you don't come.

I think I am the unluckiest supporter being a Bulls fan and living in Bridgend, I have had to see terrible performances by both sides. My birthday is 25th july, and I can see the Crusaders doing the double over the Bulls. That would really cap a dreadful season, how can I be supporting the worst two teams in the league. At least the Crusaders don't continually make excuses for bad performances, there must be a silver lining somewhere?

If it hadn't been for all the other teams scoring more points than them then they would be top of the table. I think I've heard a nearby coach using a similar argument. And probably like us they have been really good during the week, it's just match days that let them down.

what a load of rubbish, i agree that we've been rubbish most of this season and we lost to the worst ever team to enter super league and celtic are not having a reasonable season, they're terrible but i'll always be a bull and all the glory hunters have been found out, 6,000 for a home match are attendances are shockingly bad we need to start winning or mcmanamara's got to go but never stop supporting them
