having seen their performances you can't help but get the impression that either some of them don't want to be here or they don't want the coach to be here.

What could the players be distracted by to make them perform in such a way?

Maybe they've had enough of the coach and his staff!
I notice you've got a few coming off contract aswell so maybe negotiations are not going to plan!

You may be right. But the players are not doing themselves any favours with performances like that.

Personal pride? But if you like I can counter with Warrington at home, Wigan away, Cas last 10 mins, Catalan 2nd half. Maybe Leeds and Saints game says more about their performances than ours.

I found Worrincy doing his stretches and Rinaldi (the wild man) with his untamed locks and feral beard doing his press ups on the touchline very distracting.

A full time professional player should have enough pride in his work to put it in every game no matter how big the name of the opposition.

Also the quality of play yesterday (from both teams) in the first half was not of a level I'd expect from proffessional players.

I am hoping to see a big improvement in attitude this week from a number of players and expect to see them playing as if their lives depend on it after that.

I've heard before that we don't play well in bad weather. I tend ti think we don't play well when there is weather on a match day.

You've no half-backs. Deacon is past his best, and you will only get a couple of good games out of Jeffries in a year, and you will miss Solomona. You used to bully teams off the park, but you don't have a big side anymore, and you have seemed hellbent on recruiting players who have propped up relegations sides.

We get berated if we boo and there was certainly nothing to cheer about.

You could always loudly berate Platt before he's touched the ball as the 'supporters' behind me were.

The atmosphere has to have an effect on the players and yesterday it was dead.

Yeah, a lot of that. Little actual support from the "supporters" but lots of "your'e cr@p" type comments. Very inspiring no doubt.
