I can't see any, unless somebody is released. We won't go looking till the end of the season.

Rinaldi is a far better all round player in my book.

Me neither, but as 2nd Hooker he will be on far less than Rinaldi and Newton should be re-signed imo.

I like Godwin he gives you that bit of zip when he comes on and takes on the defence. When Newton is on form though i dont think there is a better hooker in the league.

IMO Godwin is a bit of a headless chicken when he's on. He buzzes round looking busy but never really produces any end product.

Newton's a tough one he has to maintain the form he has at the minute to make it a worthwhile deal.

I'd resign Newton were not going to get anybody better. What about playing Newton at loose and interchanging Godwin and Rinaldi at hooker. I dont rate Jamie Langley, the size of him he should be smashing opposing players but they jush crunch him every time, i'd have him on the bench and use him as a prop/2nd row.

Agreed, but when he is on form, and when you can tell his hearts in it -like yesterday- he is one of, if not the best Hooker in the league. Buderus my ar$e, what's he done this season

I think Newton has one more season in him.

Can't see that working, we need Newton at Hooker, he showed last night that he can see opportunities and take the defence on himself if he needs to.

I suggest those who have been keen to jump on Newton's back may sometimes forget that he's been stuck with massive stints since Godwin was injured? And has obviously been playing with injuries himself.

I would image at the stage of his career Newton will be looking for one last contract in the region of 2 possibly 3 years I can't see him signing for a year.

Newton for me with another year, but he will probably be looking at a club that will offer2/3 year contract.The man is quality when he turns it on and we'de have to think long and hard to find an adequate replacement. SL is not abounding in spare hookers of his class.

As for new signings.. how about Lynch, Cook, Morrison, Menzies and Halley
