Good on the lad, he wants to get back in the team and is trying to help asap. I doubt he'll be allowed to, but well done to the lad, plenty would just wait until they are given the all clear.
It would be stupid to put out a player who's less than 100% for a game we're likely to be beaten in and have the possiblity of losing said player for longer than was needed.
