I had to put Platt in as cover for the backs, but it's a bit shaky. Olbison looked ok for his first outing so I'd be tempted to put him there.

Tadulala (TBF actuallly looked really gutted at the end of the game)

Worrlord (IMO looks better with more game time lots of pace around that area causes problems in opposition defences)

Feel bad about leaving Langley out but I only saw him pass for the first time this season last night and it went to no one. I'd also lose Deacon and add another kid probably Olbison at the moment without Crookes but withot Deacs no one else can seem to kick goals for toffee.

Not saying i disagree, but that line up has 75-0 written all over it for next week

Olbison to stay in the 17 for me looked at home when he came on and need to build the lads confidence by keeping him in there and giving him more game time. I would say get 3 or 4 of the kids in but with the form and confidence as low as it is it could well set some of them back a little.

A 30 - 30 thriller it is then!

It's probably the best fixture possible to be honest.

Not because we'll win, or even get close, but because nothing at all will be expected in terms of a result and the players just have to put some will and effort in, and show some steel and determination, for it to be a massive improvement. In the same way that the Leeds game was perfect after the humiliation of the second half in Perpignan (not that I am suggesting a similar result).

I find it strange that Newton has escaped criticism..When the going got tough he completely dissappeared last night...
He's a so called big game player...

Little matter of the poor sod having had to play most of the full 80 for a few weeks now may have had just a teeny bit to do with it.
