FFS when are the players/coach gonna stop coming out with this crap EVERY WEEK and actually do something about it on the park? Seriously, are the T&A that short of a story that they need to reguritate this rubbish on a weekly basis?

The T&A (and every other local rag) have been running stories like that for 25 years at least.

Fact is that the local RL journo isn't going to start writing stuff that annoys the club.

The club isn't going to come out with anything out of the ordinary either, especially after two games, no matter how dire it's been.

Stuff like this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

It didn't come out with any thing out of the ordinary last season. Every week we had a article like this from a player or McNamara.

Oh it doesn't. My surprise will be when we can do our talking on the pitch rather than in tomorrows' fish and chip wrappers.

I'm sure they have a rota on who's going to talk to the T&A this week about dissappointing results/improvement etc.

Aah, so you obviously haven't actually bothered to READ the Morrison article, then.

If you [ihad[/i read it then you wouldn't have made a post which could not sensibly be made by a person who had read it.

Theres some honest stuff in there, highlighting the lack of creativity and ruck area problems as well - no hiding the issues and not just blaming luck or ref.

And as Bullseye says, a local RL journalist and a player being questioned will generally always try to put a positive spin on any situation because they are looking for the improvement next week themselves.

No it doesnt. But I have to be honest I too had not read it at first because all too often in the past these pieces have been too similar and I just assumed it would follow the same line, i was wrong.

But ultimately you're right and others in both camps are right in saying its on the pitch that counts, if there is no improvement on the pitch we could all be in the Negative Tendancy, its just a question of timing and expectations.
