We didn't lose the top 4 today. If we could play against everyone consistently like we play against Leigh, we'd have been fine.

We also sound to have yet again beaten ourselves. I was listening on BCB, and kept hearing the same old same old needless errors needless penalties needless dropping the ball, kicking out on the full etc., and as I say week in week out, you just can't afford to give the opposition constant processions up-field, you will usually pay for it.

And today, in our second most important game of the season so far, one thing I think I can say with certainty is that it cost us the game, as we very narrowly got pipped by the final conversion, and had we not made all those howlers, then very probably that would have made more than 2 points difference.

Sounds like full marks for effort today though a bunch of demerit points for criminal waste of position/possession; and more demerit points for failing to play like they obviously can, on too many occasions during the season.

Looks like are top 4 hopes are waiting for other people's results.

A* for effort, but as FA said if we had have put that kind of EFFORT in all year, we'd have been in the top 2.

I know sometimes Danny Addy is a scapegoat and I more than anyone am a huge critic but my god he did his best to give Leigh the game. 2 kicks out on the full. An horrendous missed tackle to give Leigh a try. An intercept to Hock. His standard missed conversions. Ok they were difficult but yet again we've lost on goal kicks. His 360 degree turn said it all for me.

Good effort but we had no idea how to kill a game. And at the end of the day We're looking at 8 weeks in the championship shield. I won't forgive the players for that just because they put in a decent 80 minute effort.

I'm of the opinion that Addy gets far too much criticism all things considered, but I have to say today was about as poor a game as he's ever had for us. Missed a lot of critical tackles, and looked way off the mark with speed and decision marking. Didn't look fully fit to me. On the other hand though Thomas tried his heart out.

Have no complaints over the result - didn't expect to win and was gutted we couldn't see the game out again. That said, it's so true that the destiny of our season was shaped long before today.

The question is, since when could Addy actually tackle? I can't remember him ever being good at tackling!

My view is that we lost the game in the first 20 because our goal line defense was absolutely horrendous in that first period. Then there was a solid 60 minute contest, in which we edged, especially in the second half after Micky Higham went off. To lose it to these lot, again, by one score, again, in the last few minutes, again, in a game we should have won, again, is irritating, put politely. When we play like that there is no difference between the two teams, but we have paid the price this season for thinking we can turn teams over without any effort. I suppose Leigh have had much longer at this level to know not to do that, but that doesn't excuse us.

Middle 8s is just a pipe dream now - our season feels like it's over, and I suspect the crowds for the Championship Shield will plummet. Sorry for being negative off the back of a good performance.

Well, it still hangs in the balance, especially if Leigh win again next weekend. I'm thinking it's going to come down to the last round of fixtures, with us needing London to go and do a job over Fax, and us to beat Fev away. Proper squeaky bum time stuff.

I hope I'm wrong, but I just can't see it happening.

My main worry is we won't make it, my second worry is we'll scrape it and it'll be trumpeted as an achievement.

Even if we'd won today, we wouldn't have made the 4. I admire the sheer Black Knight level bloody-mindedness of those vainly clinging to the delusion that we might still do it, good on yer!

I'm thinking the worse now. Definitely buying a season ticket next year. Can't wait already.

Our destiny and our plums are in our hands, London's hands and Featherstone's hands, it would be bloody typical to excitedly limp into the Top 4.

Well if we'd won today, we'd only be 1 point off a top four place with both Batley and Halifax having to play one or both of London and Leigh as well as both playing Featherstone so either of them losing a game would give us a chance of making the top 4.

After losing today, it's a much, much harder task, especially as the outcome is not in our hands solely.

After seeing you 3 times vs Leigh this season I really don't understand how you are where you are!

A draw at Odsal and 2 late Leigh winners at Summer Bash then again at the LSV.

There hasn't looked much between the sides at all and yet Leigh are 13 points ahead in the League Table.

Is it just a case of Bradford raising there game when they play Leigh? As I think you would have beaten pretty much anybody else in the Championship on today's showing.

Well against my better judgement I decided to brave the match today. Frustratingly a huge improvement on what we've seen for the vast majority of this season. Why couldn't we have shown that much effort last week or indeed a little more often throughout the season?

Lacked quality in attack on their line and blew a few good positions in that 2nd half to win the match. Probably deserved at least a point from that performance but I guess that's what you get for not having halfbacks. Scrambling defence was good in the 2nd half and Moss looks like he will be a great player for us.

Relying on a lot of luck to make the top 4 now, mathematically still possible but realistically we need a lot of results to fall our way.
