| The clips of Millards best bits on Youtube look pretty good. Pace, power, good hands, can step off both feet.
Wonder if he can play second row?

| Hope this is not some stupid rumour, he looks a class act and is much better than sykes or nero although nero has been one of our best players this season along with halley and lynch but this millard looks better, I pray to God we get him

| Just watched the You tube clips and how many of those would be pulled up as forward passes in Superleague? I thought our touch judges were a waste of space.
If we signed this guy he'd be the best centre we've had since Hape.

Just watched it and the similarity to Shonny circa 2003-2005 is remarkable. Jumping to massive conclusions on the basis of one reel of highlights, this guy looks outstanding and exactly what we need.
Sheriffe to top the 2010 try scoring charts???

| finally got round to watching the youtube highlights and assuming we really have signed him, millard is a massive step in the right direction for us. easily outclasses both nero and sykes and offers a genuine attacking threat with some decent pace and classy offloads. probably our best signing so far this year.
Generally im pretty pleased with the signings so far. only possible exception to that would be kearney, but that hasnt been confirmed anywhere except the one story in the oz paper which confused him with delaney so there may be nothing in it yet. Feel kearney would be a real gamble with his injury record but would definitely add something to the team. If a NRL club is prepared to meet our price tag for sam then we could use the money and kearneys quota spot to bring in a real quality half or 2 or 3 quality english players. Given that amount of money then brough and westwood would be obvious targets although it might be tempting to try and gazump wire and get myler as a long term halfback solution.

| I think it would be a much more exciting concept to have Halley playing outside him rather than Sheriffe.
I guess it depends on whether Semi stays or not, and whether we've signed Kearney or not.
Halley on the wing outside Millard and Kearney at fullback (with Platt and Sheriffe as cover) sounds quite promising in my opinion.
All still just speculation you understand

Gidley does it for Gardner and Senior's spent years making some pretty average wingers look great on the try scoring charts.
It's just a thought and I'm certainly not putting any money on it.

i agree if we were to sign millard and kearney, it would be a massive improvement on our backs line, keareny at FB would be better than halley, and millard would be better than sykes. Halley Im sure would do well for us on the wing. just hope that we have signed them.

| Yeh they might well improve our backline, but we need a halfback as well. If we're recruiting from SL we will need to exchange players or pay a transfer fee to get a quality player. No point have an exciting centre or FB and still being led about by Sykes/Deacon.

Well there is a point, better than having our current backs out there. But i agree we deffo need a new stand off. Surely we must have one signed on if jeffries has been allowed to leave.

Although it sounds like he had a good game y6esterday, and has been impressive for much of the season, i dont reckon hes as good a fullback as kearney. we would have a better back line if halley was on the wing and keeping someone such as sheriffe out of the team.

He may not be, but the very fact that we already have a fullback who's performing very well means we don't need to strengthen that area nearly as much as others. What's the point in signing players for positions we already have good players in, when we have other very very weak areas of the team?
If it's the wing that's weak, instead of signing a fullback and moving the fullback to the wing, why not just sign a winger?

they may also be trying to sign a winger. There may be no wingers of sufficient quality available to sign; it may be that signing a FB and moving Halley to the wing may be the best way of improving the backline by the players who are currently on the market. If noone was signed because there were no wingers available, that wanted to come, and for the right amount of money i dont think people would be very happy, so it may be that signing a very good FB and moving halley to the wing may be the best option.
I can see what you're saying but i personally feel that Kearney is a better FB than Halley and if by signing him is the best way we can currently improve our backline then so be it.

I do see the point and I appreciate there may be no wingers of sufficient quality available, and probably signing a fullback and moving Halley to the wing is a better option than just not signing anyone. However with Halley in such good form, I'm just not sure it sends out the right message to the players that no matter how well you play, you still might end up getting replaced and shifted somewhere else. It's the same wrong message that comes from continually picking players quite clearly out of form or not good enough.
Difficult one really, but I suppose replacing Sheriffe would be a good thing no matter which way you look at it.

| yes i agree, and you can easily see both sides of the arguement, but I think Kearney is a good player and would love to see him at the bulls as he would make us a better team.
We need some massive improvements to our backline and as long as they come I will be happy enough.

Uate. I really would love to see him sign for the Bulls, but apart from a mention from Semi that he was looking to come to England, there's been no links as far as I've seen.
