| Completely O/T but can somebody explain the Canada thing. Rowley is to be manager, Noble director of rugby, based in Tong for away games and Toronto for home games. How will this work? Which CH1 team could afford to travel to Canada? Who could fund a CH1 team that plays in Canada? And should they get promoted (which presumably be the ultimate aim) how many SL teams could fund a trip to Canada? Or have I slipped into some sort of parallel universe where RL is the premier sport in the UK?

Maybe it is like Catalans where the RFL pay for the clubs to fly their players over?

[url=http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/may/07/toronto-rugby-league-team-talks-join-england-league-1-canadaThis will explain most of your questions[/url. Or at least try. In terms of funding for travel, the Canadian team and their backers are paying for it. A [url=http://www.thestar.com/sports/2015/10/03/local-group-looks-to-bring-rugby-league-to-toronto.htmlstory from the Toronto Star[/url last year. A [url=http://www.theroar.com.au/2015/11/27/north-americas-rugby-league-revolution/bit of their recent history[/url. Which makes it sound like they've only been doing this since 2010. Some of the people involved were throwing together pre-match exhibitions of RL at full CFL games in the 90s. There is a long standing passion for getting this off the ground over there, and whilst I know of more RL-loving ex-pats in Australia I personally know way more ex-pats in Canada than I do Aus'.
For Canadian internationals, which are frankly at a lower level than that proposed, they get within 80% of capacity for the stadium the Toronto team will be playing in.
It's not as completely pie in the sky as it might initially sound. Interesting experiment at any rate. Even if it fails, RL will still be the first ever transatlantic domestic competition ever.

As for "Redbull"? Another wannabe on the wind-up or do they actually have inside knowledge. Let's see if he/she has the courage to tell us more.
However, Redbull does seem a worryingly similar username to a previously banned poisoned dwarf who has her head up Duffy's bottom, Reading Bullette.

| Matty Elliot's win rating is 50% as a coach. And if you take away his successful stint at the Bulls it drops to nearer 44%. You could argue that the success at the Bulls was a blip on his otherwise poor coaching record.

| Whatever your views on Jimmy's coaching abilities I do hope that if he makes an appearance on the pitch this Sunday, fans will show their appreciation in the correct manner. I hope we all respect the man for his efforts over the years. Like him or not I believe he has always done his best for us. In his playing days he was tremendous and I hope people respect this on his farewell.

| When I think of James Lowes the vision I primarily get is of him marching up to Mercer at Huddersfield in the Semi and screaming in his face. I think that's how he'd like us to remember him.

| Obviously nobody is getting on with Ross. He annoyed Omari Caro the other week, annoyed Lowes almost continually last season and he's now got the chairman's back up.
Not good.
While I suspect it's not all hunky dory at Odsal I'm not sure what Ross hopes to achieve with his rather critical coverage. It seems to be full of innuendo and negativity. Put up or shut up. If there's trouble at t'mill let's hear it.
Otherwise give it a rest.

| Ross has clearly upset a few but isn't that what he is there for. If he never said anything wouldn't we all be complaining that he never says anything. At least he has banged on the door and made the chairman make a statement.
It should be the club and players now who "put up" as we are now a struggling championship club with supporters who are getting more and more disillusioned.
I am 100% behind Mr Green and how he has steadied the ship but the club feels like it has taken a dip downwards again. It and the supporters need picking up again and what / who is announced in the next few days could be vital in how the club goes in the near future.

He's been at it all season, the bloke is a complete bell end.
Glad Green has spoken the truth - don't expect T&A to make everything seem rosy but Ross has put a negative spin on everything this season.
O'Brien signs a long term deal - fantastic news for most of us, Ross sees an opportunity to talk about a couple of others potentially leaving.

I would advise you to take New Zealand off your list of potential holiday destinations making comments like that, you would be on the hog roast at Mt Smart

| Jason Demetriou has to be worth a look, the amount of comps he's won in his short coaching career is unbelievable. Plus he has good knowledge of the English game and the second string leagues in Australia where its most likely for us to recruit good players including a 7.
