I'd asses his long term fitness first. At least Beaver seems fit and healthy lets see how Morro goes for a few more games first. We're not short on middle unit players so theres no desperation.

Morrison and Menzies are two key figures to have around the place on and off the field.
They both look more than up to going round for another year and well also give the kids the support to break through for another year.

The non retention of Solomona should give the younger lads some more game time.

Plus could we could use Menzies more off the bench next year if he resigns? as more of an impact player, rather than expect him to go 80 every week, opening up a starting spot in the backrow that some of the younger lads can aim for.

I'd love to see both resigned [iif [/iit works with our quota plans for next year, but maybe on the thinking of utilising them both in more targeted way like Menzies off the bench? Because as special as both these players are you have to think at some point age will catch up even with these two and we need to think how we'd get maximum use out of thier ability for the entire season.

thats what league express said morrisons new status was going to be. so if semi is classed as fed trained does that mean he doesnt count towards overseas anymore. Who does exactly out of jeffries,morrison,nero and rinaldi? assume menzies and hall are automatically full quota as they were signed after feb 2007 cutoff. Is it basically anyone who was classed as kolpak before new rules and who signed before feb 2007 can apply to be fed trained? Can't find a clear explanation of quota rules anywhere ( and they seem to change every few months anyway

ok so that means semi if he stays wouldnt count towards overseas. rinaldis after cutoff date. think nero has italian ancestry so can apply for fed trained when his current deal expires at end of 2010 if we retain him.

all full quota

plus nero overseas trained


giving us one full quota spot to play with.
