| Best performance of season. Kear got his selection spot on (except if Bustin was fit he should have been in for Kirk). Minchella superb, his pass to Gibson for his try was top drawer. Chizzys' game management was good and Keyes looks a yard faster lately when he does his show and go. Peltier very powerful as usual and Flanagan put more zip into our go forward when he came on. Workington next week and we deffo owe Pryce one. Onwards and upwards.

| The most... composed.... performance of the year, barring Peltz's brainfart at the end. Let hope when Pryce's lot start their grubby tactics we can remain as calm.
Though the ref had a good game too, didn't really notice him until 60 mins

| Well done and congratulations to the Bulls
One of the best all round team games from the Bulls this season for me. Defence awesome, completion of sets in the main very good, a lack of unforced errors, some good backing up and support play, and we nilled Oldham on top just to complete the afternoon.
Now we need to replicate all that next week against Leon's grubby team tactics. Hope the ref is a really top official, and is conscious of the tactics Workington can adopt.

| What a performance! Are we about to hit a good spot of form at the right time of the year?
I felt that Flanagan and Peltier were the game changers during the first 40 mins. Our intensity stepped up another level and Oldham were blown away. Minchella and Keyes also looked very dangerous going forward.
Great composure and some excellent play (Hitchcox & Gibson’s scores). If we play like we did today we should be fine next week.

| Very solid 1st half and then turned on the style in the 2nd half. Thought our defence was excellent and Oldham never looked like they would break us down. Some of our last tackle plays were a little strange at times but I'm being overly critical I think.
Good day, although I expected the scoreline to be closer and I forgot how cold Odsal can be when the wind is whipping around!
First hurdle jumped, now need another performance next week to avoid a scrap with Swinton for promotion.

| Great 2nd half.
As others have said, Pelts and Flanagan made a real impact.
Chissy was outstanding in the 2nd half. 40/20, perfect kick to Hitchcox and the long looping pass to Ryan to top it all off.

| Top class today, Chisholm on top of his game and that pass to Ryan superb. Whilst not ripping up trees I thought that was Kirk's best performance for the club, ran hard, no errors that I can recall and defense spot on. Tough tough game next week that I for one will doing everything I can to get to.

| Best performance of the season. Yes we turned on the style in the second half, but for me the game was arguably won in the first. We played smart and worked hard. Set for set, no silly errors, no let up in intensity and that allowed the gaps to appear later on. It's what we've lacked all season. We play like that next week. We win.
Shout out to Jack Smith as well. Referees get bagged but i thought that was a fine performance. When the Oldham winger threw the ball away after our 40/20, how many times have we seen the referee stop the clock, allow the offending team to set their line while he has a word. Great officiating to whip out the yellow. If we have as strong a ref for the final, Worky will struggle as they won't have a weak referee allowing them to do it time and time again. A lot of the refs who we've seen "old-manned" by certain teams should watch Smith's performance today.

How about someone on here asking today's ref how much he got paid for today, then we have a whip round and fund him for next week....like we've done before

Looks like some of them grubby tactics have started on social media...
Ethans dad i think has tweeted something about the Bulls smashing Workington next week (little bit silly as it will be a tough game), Leon has then quoted it and obviously trying to get a reaction. Obviously the social media guy who also obviously loves us from his work from when they beat us last time has also quoted it. Amateur hour. I think Leon will make a superb coach, but when a coach or the clubs OFFICAL Twitter account start trying to pick fights with opposition fans on social media, i'll give up. I really hope we wallop them next week.

| Easily our best performance of the season. Every player contributed and brought their A game. Thought we played with patience and composure early on and won the arm wrestle, that meant that when our bench came on they were there for the taking. Two moments in attack for me was the break and long pass from Chisholm for Ryan’s second try and the offload from Minchella to Gibson. Both superb.
Shame Egodo did his hamstring but other than that it was all positives.

Agree on Kirk, certainly looked at times like he isn't ready, but performances like today show he has it in him. He reminds me a lot of Koppy at this present time. If he can develop to his level he will have a fine career. End of the day he is very young for a prop and these last two seasons will stand him in good stead

I still think when playing worky next week we will need to replace him with Bustin as well as he did play

| Kirk was a terrier in defence yesterday, never missed. Did a lot of work, going forward he reminds me of Brian McDermott. Doesn’t make a lot of ground at all, never passes but always willing, does some tough carries and tries to get a quick play the ball. Bustin isn’t as busy in defence but makes heaps more ground going forward. Given Kirk’s performance he’s made it hard for Kear to drop him.

| For me it's got to be Bustin before Kirk. I like Kirk and he is 100% clubman and workhorse but simply does not offer enough going forward. Very rarely breaks a tackle and makes very little ground after contact. Bustin almost always makes 5 - 10 metres on contact, backs up and has the speed to run 20 metres. He also has the ability to score from close range.
I hope as a team we don't fall in love with ourselves following Sundays good performance, job is only half done.

My only reservation about Bustin is his lateral defence and whether he gets up and back to marker quick enough. Going forward he's great.
Who would Workington like to face least? Probably Bustin.
Think Kear should come into his own this week with his experience and should mean we don't think we've got the job done hopefully.

| I know Chisholm is getting the praise for setting up tries but for me his best contribution came from our own half after about 15-20 mins.
Oldham were taken 5-10 metres a set out of us and we'd had found the FB and winger 2 sets in a row on the last tackle and we'd started the set from our own try line.
The kick from our own 40 that split their winger and full back put them right back on their 10m and gave us enough breathing space to catch up.

Definitely, they are the type of plays we want to see from him. To be fair the chase was solid rather than a bust a gut to get there chase too and still Johnson only got 10 metres as the kick made him do that much work. That was by far the best he has been this season, and the first time its actually looked like him and Keyes clicked. I love how Joe must always have defenders in two minds whether he will give or go too.

| Chisholm could have had two 40-20s as well. the second was ruled out but looked ok to me. I liked how he played with so much composure. No running down blind alleys this week. Makes a difference when the forwards do their job too and we completely bossed it up front.

Yeah massively agree mate, at times he has tried too hard which is understandable given some of the grief (and rightly questioned at times) hes had this year. But when he went he broke the line no getting caught in possession late in the set taking himself out of the equation on the last tackle. Great to see

The Ref got 40-20 right looking at the video footage, a better more consistent performance still not an 80 minute one, but hopefully they save it for Worky.
Thought JK was being a bit disingenuous when Gledders asked him about the Fans asking where that performance came from! by saying what do you mean? they scored 47 points! Avoiding the question was probably the easier option for him!
The co commentator with Mick was very good best of the 3 that are normally on with him at various times!
