The thing is, so many players come out and tell the press and other people McNamara is a class coach in the making.

Noble's said it before, I know for a fact Leon Pryce wouldn't have left Bradford had McNamara been in charge, JP as you previously said.

And if you dig up the article about Sam Burgess signing his new contract, you'll see him state just how big a part McNamara being here was to him commiting.

Pryce and Peacock never played under him as head coach he was the assistant which is a massive difference and what do honestly expect Sam to say that he's a turd.

Whilst "hate" is a rather strong word, what I would say is......

Despite so many people telling us that he is an "outstanding" coach, we, up till now, have still had very little evidence of this whatsoever.

However, we have heard all the excuses and are aware of the financial constraints he has faced and he will now be given the chance to prove whether he is indeed an outstanding coach or whether it is all unwarranted praise without a great deal of substance.

I made a promise to the Ancient legend that I would give the coach ten games and then re-assess my views on McNamara and HIS team.

Having said that, most things that are in the Mirror are a pile of dog poo anyway.

You can add Ryan Atkins to that list too. He left because of Nobby too. I was speaking to him a few weeks back on a night out in Pudsey and he said he went to see Noble asking to be given a chance over Ben Harris, yes I said BEN HARRIS (remember him!!) , and he was told he wasn't ready by Noble. Macca was of a different opinion.

...and that tells it own story. Ben Harris was an excellent player for us. Ryan Atkins is very average indeed.

For one who seems to want the whole world to love Mr McNamara, your defence case is curious to say the least.

Perhaps he does, when i've spoke to Atkins he's said that Noble never seemed to have any faith in the younger players. And he's not the only one who's said it.

Another interesting point of note for Mr Highlander is that if Mr McNamara rated Atkins so highly, how come we were interested in practically every RL centre in the world, yet we were not linked with him.

didnt atkins sign a longish deal with wakey? all we were linked with were coming up to the end of there current deals.

and since when did contracts mean a great deal? Had we wanted him we would have got him on the cheap.
