| The good thing for Bulls is we have West Wales Oldham Hemel last 3 games,Oldham is tough but chance to pull points back if York go unbeaten.

| Shaping up to be a close end to the season.
York: Coventry (h), North Wales (h), West Wales (a), Hunslet (h), Workington (a), Oldham (h), Hemel (a), Whitehaven (h)
Bradford: London (a), Whitehaven (h), North Wales (a), Workington (h), Keighley (h), West Wales (a), Oldham (a), Hemel (h)
York haven't won in Cumbria since 1842 or something like that. Oldham on a good day are are a dangerous team, on a bad day they are poor. For York I think it all hinges on finally winning in Cumbria and making sure there are no slip ups against Oldham while posting a cricket score against some of the lower teams. I'm fairly confident against Hunslet and Whitehaven at home.
For Bradford, again the Oldham match is the difficult one. I think Keighley have lost too many players to challenge you at Odsal, even if they'll be fired up.
If I was a betting man I'd say Bradford to finish top and York to go up through the playoffs.

| Every game is a Grand Final now until the end of the season. Playing the 2 worst teams in the League during our final 3 games is very helpful if the points difference is very close. We were very poor against the Skolars last time out and still scored 54 points. Hopefully we can open up a greater point difference this weekend.

And yet York only beat them by 2 points a couple of weeks ago?

They didn't use their DR players, as I understand it. If they were learning any lessons from that game it would seem to have borne fruit in the following one.....

Those lessons being, "KR's players are better than ours"?
York have lost access to a couple that played against the Bulls now. Josh Johnson and Jordan Walne have gone to Leigh on loan. Since Craig Hall and Ben Crooks have come in though, York may get a couple of the fringe three quarters from KR instead.

Errm, no - The lessons being that the KR players were better than the ones York substituted for them against London - thus explaining why they only beat them by the same two points as in our game.

By ours, I meant from a York POV. So yes, the lesson being that KR's players are better than York's. I didn't mean better than Bradford's, although to be fair, I think they probably are.

You have got to feel a little bit sorry for those York players who played against London, and then were preparing for probably the biggest game of their career to date the following week, just to be told they were dropped as some KR players who were coming in on loan, for one game (apparently).

| Scored some good tries (Chisholms was a cracker) but far too many schoolboy errors again. 2 hospital passes to Ethan in our own 30. So frustrating at times. Its a small pitch, we can kill them with off-loads.
Also with Hallas last week proving to anyone who had any doubt that he's not a hooker, Halafihi having a dodgy start today, i really question the decision to let Butterworth go.

I think the decision was not in Bradford's hands tbh. They seem to have done alright in terms of getting players from Cas on loan mind you

On the whole not too bad I would have taken that score this morning, Halafihi a bit rusty and yes those hospital passes were baffling. There were plenty of positives i.e. Egodo and I thought Chisholm was very good, the issue that bothers me is James Green caused chaos in their defense pretty well every carry I cannot understand why no-one can push up to get on his shoulder for the off-load.

| Great debut from Egodo. Lilley also seemed to be getting more involved as we went on. Plenty of positives. On the negative side Chisholm threw some awful passes in the 1st half, we lacked patience and needed to be more clinical. Think the message got out at half time.

| Thought Chissy was outstanding and probably our MOM with James Green very close behind (if at all..). Fair enough, that came with the odd howler but with that kind of attacking skill I'll put up an occasional shocker.
Generally a good solid performance from all, with the new blokes seeming to fit as though they'd been here all year - pretty much from the off too as, for a change, we made very few errors in the opening quarter. I was very impressed with Egodo, he looks the business.
I've edited this to mention the wind, which was very dominant, particularly in the first half, and the good performance playing against this, and ending the half with a solid lead shouldn't be underestimated. All round good performance for me.

| Yes agree the wind was a major factor....thought we played well in very blustery conditions...and we held onto the ball on a plastic pitch which we struggled with in Newcastle.
