As I thought. It will be interesting to see how quickly he progresses, and generally how the U20's do this season, last 3 seasons results were 13 wins, 10 wins, 5 wins, so the only way is up. hopefully.

So the report in today's T&A article suggests Lulia and Pryce STILL won't be fit for the Cas game.
How can Lulia go from hoping to pass a last minute fitness test for the Catalns game last Friday, to still being unavailable for a game 10 days later?
Someone at the club is telling us a few porkies here.

he might well be fit, just keeping the opposition guessing. we did this all last season, no reason to suggest this year would be different.

Pryce's recovery rate will be inversely proportional to Bulls lack of success.

Well Cas coach Slackjaw is a past master at that!

These are two Coachs who were both at Stains and know how successful that Clubs Style and Philosophy is.
We know how MP has struggled to change the way the Bulls have played albeit with a changing Squad and too many injuries.
It will be interesting to see how Slackjaw copes with changing the Cas one, though I don't think he will be able to do too much and will do a decent job, given that the Cas job is such that he can only improve things, MP has a weight of expectation on his shoulders and will struggle to get the Squad into a winning mentality
Both Coachs man management are clearly different in the way they approach the game, so it will be intersting to see who comes out on top this season

I think its fine for Donaldson to say this. He isnt criticising, but it is a little early to be booing imo.

The booing came at half time on Sunday. The Bulls were 20-0 down and showed no signs of that margin doing anything but get bigger.

TBH, I think we're well beyond the point were we should be booing after 5 years of under performing. The players need a kick up the backside and need to realise that the fans aren't going to stand for that kind of lack of effort served up on Sunday.

Given that Cas have finished above Bradford for the last 3 seasons I am struggling with that one.

I wasn't comparing the seasonal final positions but making a point that he has an easier job in improving Cas further, MP has a larger hill to climb at Bradford in comparison.

Think Donno and the rest of the players need to quit whinging and actually improve rather than just talk about it in the T&A.

Apprently some fans have very high expectations, well not on here they don't.

I think you will find its not the bulls players reeling off the same boring lines of "we need to step it up" it's that C9ck of a journo Ross, his headlines and boring articles make the lads look bad, he hasn't got anything positive to write so he lays the lads to be fed by the wolves

My expectations aren't high, I did however expect a massive effort from the squad to kick off the season. I wanted to see some passion and pride in the shirt, it never materialised.

IMO its not Joseph or Burgess its both of them drop Sibbit or Donaldson.

Keep Donno. More chance of creting something at least. Drop Sibbit.

Sibbit did 45 tackles against Cats which was more than Koppy AND Scruton put together!!!! Not bad for someone who "did nothing!"

Making alot of tackles doesnt win games..carries and drives does..3 carries for 13metres is a waste of time...i would rather have a player who cant tackle but makes 175metres from 30 carries and does 6 tackle busts..at least hes going forward...best moment for me was when kear ran across the line..looked to be going nowhere saw a gap and made a tackle bust bang 30yards....not watching sibbit be third man in at a tackle.

Same team as last week, better book their ideas up.
