It's right, the company is now in the hands of a liquidator and it is officially in liquidation on the Companies House website. Statement of affairs filed by the liquidator shows over £4m owed to HMRC and various other creditors.

It appears like Green has tried, but he didn't have the experience or the deep pockets that the club needed.

Personally, I have never thought of Green as a shrewd businessman. Green has overseen the progress of the club for the last 2 seasons, which has seen us slowly decline. Lowes was a bad fit from the beginning, and the club failed to crack down on his poor man management and lack of media skills. We finished the season where we deserved.

Nothing certain,but whatever happens,Marc surely did his best AND he deserves total respect for keeping us afloat.

Mick needs to be ashamed it was his "in the know" tweet which started this drama off about administration.

Fair play to Mark Green. Indeed a forceful statement.

He is dead right though, if we as supporters want a club then we as supporters need to ensure they we survive.

We have no right to have a club given to us, it's a representation of our community that we can all get behind.

That doesn't mean running off because we are in the Championship for another year.

No matter where we are, we should support. Lets not be glory supporters.

I personally would like to hear someone higher up saying "You know what, the players performed awful. It was their fault". Yes, you're missing the point. You need to park this season and be grateful Green is up for another crack, because if not for him, whatever you want to say about this season, we would effectively now be dead. Yet he says if we keep coming then we have a new year and a full time team. If you don't buy into that then that's your choice. I've said my bit about the debacle of 2016 and now I am just relieved we can look forward. I don't blame anyone for being disillusioned, and just hope enough keep the faith.

The club need to either bring in more income commercially or sort out the on field issues. Constantly repeating 'if you want success you'll have to pay for it' isn't working and as you mentioned what happens if fifty percent of support base decide they've had enough?
