You're right. We should have approached the lad behind Huddersfield's back rather than our coach contacting other clubs directly to find an available player and going through legal channels to sign him. That would have been more in keeping with Huddersfield's ethos.

Its good that Cummins and Anderson have a relationship better than some acrimonious fans.
Forget the bitching, think about the player. He needs game time to improve himself and his career in SL.
A big chance for him and should be busting a gut to prove his worth & just 4 weeks to show it.

Jesting aside, i've said this is a good move, he's a cracking player and its a shame he cant get in out team at the moment, so like Luke George, rather than have them sat in the stand rotting away, sending them on loan to keep match fitness is a good thing - look after him

I'd take Luke George if he's OOC at the end of the year. Got a lot of pace, quite a big lad but most of all he has big hair which guarantees he's a good un.

I would rather have Luke George than Richard Owen

Most loanings are done for the benefit of both clubs and the players concerned. It benefits the Bulls because they are short at prop and it benefits the Giants and the player in that young Fairbank gets more game time and at a higher level than he's currently getting, therefore he has every chance of going back a better player.

Everyone's a winner in this.

Just spoken to a colleague who is a Fev fan. Says he saw him a few times when he was on loan at Fax (which I didn't realise) & doesn't rate him. I still think he's bitter about Darrel Powell.

We had him at Batley for a few games. Don't expect much, he actually weakened our team. Very poor go-forward, just too small.

He went OK to say he probably hasn't played overmuch recently.

I have to say i never saw Fairbank as a prop. To me he was an 80 minute tackling machine in the back row.
